Here are some of the kids

This is Santusa, she is one of the wee Quechuan girls I talked about before. She had all her hair shaved off so that the sores in her head would heal, hence the hat. When tim met her he said she was the closest thing to a wild child... she says a couple of things in Spanish now.
Here are the two little ones, Maria-Isabel and Javier
Maria-Isabel is Santusa's little sister. She is pretty crazy and has a bandage on one of her big toes at the moment. She is limping... very cute.

Here is a close up of Javier. he is the boy at the orphanage, his history is that he was left at the hospital when born. He is very very quite and has begun to call me mummy... but the other girls are always telling him to shut up, "she is not your mother".

And here... Beatriz, she is pretty special. Her mother was an alcoholic and she has fetal alcohol syndrome. She is clever and is pretty funny. The other day when we were having a cup of tea and some bread which we do everyday at 5 pm, she say... "well i don't think the cook knows how to cook very well..." was pretty funny cause usually she just says the same few words over and over again. She will stay in care until she is 16.
